Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Tingle Tea Tree Oil Shampoo

This is a very atypical tea tree oil shampoo I recently bought at Trader Joe’s. It’s called Tea Tree Tingle and lives up to its name… thanks to the addition of peppermint oil, eucalyptus oil, and other natural oils. I’ll provide a full list of ingredients below after the review.

If you are looking for a shampoo with that natural, green, unique tea tree oil smell, this may not be the shampoo for you. Even though tea tree oil comes higher in the list of ingredients, the peppermint oil and eucalyptus oil dominate the smell. This is not a bad thing, but if you are looking for something a little more purely tea tree oil, I recommend the Jason organic Tea Tree Oil shampoo which costs a little more but is may be a more traditional type of tea tree oil shampoo.

This Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Tingle is one of my favorite shampoos right now, and my hair and scalp always feel great after using it.

Here is an ingredient list in the order listed on the bottle – ingredients with an asterisk are organic:
